I don't know about you but it's disturbing to see what some of our young people are wearing an how their parents allow it. I'll give you some examples that I'm talking about. These are just a few of the t-shirts that I've seen young people an even some kids ( 9 - 12 ) wearing in public with their parents. Now I'm not just talking about the anarchy signs those have been around as long as I can remember. No I'm talking worse than than that like a shirt that are about or make fun of religion. Like a few I've seen that says " Why is there enough religion to incite a war, But not enough religion to instill tolerance? " how about this one " You tell me that I'm a sinner an I'm bound for hell, So once your judgment condems you, I shall see you there." or this one " It's better to be an open sinner, Than a false saint." There are way more than this out there. Those are just some of the ones that I've seen on people or in magazines that you can order. Now besides what their clothing say, how about the clothing that they get to buy an wear. Now this topic will mainly concern the young girls mostly. The only problem the young guys have is wearing their clothing low enough to see the color an type of their underwear. Now don't get me wrong I'm all for baggy clothing. It's comfortable an easy to move in, but if it's going to be that loose to where I see your briefs, wear a belt. Now the young girls an ladies you see today have one thing in common, to show off as much as possible with wearing as little as possible. Than our society is wondering why teenage rape an pregnancy is on the rise. Now this is mainly do to what they see on tv, movies, and around them. Yet again the parents allow them to wear these things, because this is usually how mommy dresses. AT what point did fashion an over all appearance out rule morality. Now I know there are some out that say " I have no control over what they wear. They are old enough to make their decisions." NO THEY ARE NOT! When they hit 18 an decide to move out on their own than they can make their own decisions. Parents allow them to, just so they don't have to here the complaining or just to get them out of the parents hair. Yes, teenagers are very rebellious. They are searching for an identity. Trying to figure out who they really are and if parents don't help by leting them do whatever. Parents if you loose control over your children at an early age an don't regain control quick enough.Than they know what it takes to get their way an if parents don't have a good control over them by this point. Than they know how to get to you an what it takes to make you give in. I call the clothing I see on our young people ( The Devils Wardrobe ) because if God was any where in their lives, family or our society than this would be but a minor issue, instead of a major one. Yes some of the blame can be pointed towards certain groups an organations, who names I will leave out, but you and they know who they are. Their the ones that tell you how you have to rise and discipline your children. Where if a child calls them an tells them that their parents are treating them badly or unfair they come in an investigate the parents for abuse. Instead of coming out to if there really needs to an investagation or not. Now in some cases this is good, but they have been given a little to much authority over how we govern our children. Now I myself have no children of my own, but I help raise my 2 godchildren, a 9 year old boy an his sister who is 3. Not to to speak ill of their parents, which could done alot better job at raising an disciplining them instead of just yelling out them or spoiling them. I had to do that as a Godparent to make sure that when they grew up, they grew up right. Knowing their manners, having respect for their elders, ect. Now like my mom an my grandmother they know I will spank hanny if they get out of line. It worked on me. Granted there were some things I had to learn on my own, but at least I had what my parents an elders taught me to fall back on to keep me out of bad trouble. What our society considers acceptable to wear an act for young has gotten out of control. Parents need to take control over what their children wear an how they wear it. I know that's easier said than done in a society that embraces evrything but God. This is why I have titled this blog The Devils Wardrobe. As Carman said " We Need God in America Again." Gods blessing to you all.
