Why the name for my blog

Why I choose the name of my blog to be "Heavenly Soldier". I would like think that I'm a soldier in God' s Heavenly army. I believe that we are fighting a spiritual battle and our salvation is on the line if we're not fighting on the right side. God's side. Now the only way to get to God is through (His) son Jesus Christ. Now I don't this in a way where I start going out and hurting those who are doing wrong or those who are sinnful . We all have sin. We are born with a sinnful nature. That's the Bible refers to us as ungrateful lunatics. This is just how we are by nature. Now some of you may being saying to your selves, not me. If you have not asked Jesus Christ into your hearts, repent an ask for forgiveness for your sins than yes you are one too. Even as a christian and believer in the Lord Almighty, we must repent daily and ask God for forgiveness. Whether we sin or not. Why do we do this, because we are not perfect, we are not God. No matter how hard we try, we still must fight against the tempation of sin. Now this is done through trials and tribulations that God puts us through to see if we will remain faithful to (Him). For if we can't handle the little trials of life, how are we suppose to handle what the Lord gives us. Let me give you an example; I've learned to pretty much give all my worries an concers over to the Lord, but I still have a problem with smoking, my mouth (Swear words), an in certain situations I find myself getting anger quickly. Now if I don't truly hand over Everything to the Lord, than these things are a way for Satan to use them against me. Theres a man I didn't get to hear speak, but I have his cd's, his name is Dan Morgan an he said in one of his cd's that the flesh will try an get whatever it desires and telling it no is like telling a disobedient child no. It will throw a tantrum. The flesh must learn to be obedient. The only way this can happened is by the word (Bible) of God. If we must beat it into submission not only with the word, but through prayer. I mean PRAYER. On your knees before God daily until your the temtions of your flesh is nothing more than a minor scratch. Needless to say after this post I think you all kmow what I'll be doing. A one on one with the Father on my knees beating my temtion to a pulp. Because if we don't learn obedience through Christ. Than why should your flesh be obedient you. I hope this will help you under stand that without Christ, man is left up to his devices. If you don't know what that means or is, just read your papers about the highschool shooting, how teenage pregnancy is on the rise, how about kids killing one another for a pair of shoes, or take a good look at are over flowing prisons to see what man is truly capable of. I'm not one to sugar coat this for anyone. The truth hurts. Must people ask "How can God let bad things happen to good people. When you should be asking why does God let good things happen to bad people". It's as stated early, God knows who (He) wants to go through trials, the ones who will keep their faith in (Him) at all times. No matter what they are going through. You must understand that God already knows who is going to Heaven and to Hell. Remeber (His) grace falls on the Just an unJust. It's that the Just know who to give there glory too. While the unJust think that they done it all on there own. In the end I'd rather have my wealth in Heaven and my salvation based on a man who died so we could be free of Satans bonds. I talking about the Almighty, King of Kings, Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. I hope that this post has been somewhat informative to you. May God bless you and may you find all you will ever need in him.

It is only by the power of Christ that we can overcome our flesh. We need to do but one thing...submit ourselves to Him.

Dan has a way of getting right to the heart of the matter, "submit ourselves to HIm". I think you have an incredable advantage on your side. Both Dan and myself went years before coming to an awearness of this fact. To realize that it was never about us, and has always been about God seems a rather simple idea to graps hold of but without proper biblical teaching and dedication on our behalf to God's Word it is an easy thing to over look. Blessings and prayers to you and your family...
